Ethylene oxide (EO) is one of the simplest cycloethers, belonging to heterocyclic compounds, and is an important petrochemical product. Ethylene oxide is a colorless transparent liquid at low temperature, and a colorless gas with etheric pungent odor at room temperature. The vapor pressure of the gas is high, which can reach 141kPa at 30℃. This high vapor pressure determines the strong penetration of ethylene oxide fumigation.

Application:

1.Ethylene oxide is an organic compound with the chemical formula C2H4O that was previously used to make fungicides. It is widely used in washing, pharmaceutical, printing and dyeing industries. In the chemical industry can be used as the starting agent of cleaning agent.

2.Ethylene oxide is mainly used in the manufacture of ethylene glycol (polyester fiber raw material), synthetic detergents, non-ionic surfactants, antifreeze agents, emulsifiers and ethylene glycol products, also used in the production of plasticizers, lubricants, rubber and plastics. Widely used in washing and dyeing, electronics, medicine, pesticides, textile, paper, automobile, oil mining and refining and many other fields.
